monday morning & sleep training

Can't say how long this will last, but Riri has been sleeping less these days, usually sleeping around 9:30-10:30pm and up by 9am. Gone are the days we used to sleep until noon!  She wakes up a couple of times during the night,  not because she's hungry but her movements startle her and she is not the baby to fall asleep by herself, so I have to sooth her or give her the boob to let her drift back to sleep.

Hub mentioned sleep training or letting her cry it out but I tried while he was away on business trip last week and I'm sure if he was there he would have given up  faster than me! (I lasted 5 minutes)
I decided to just go with her pace, if she's not ready then I will hug her and let her know I'm there for her, no matter what books say I feel she is so young and crying for 30+ minutes doesn't sound like it would do her any good (& moi).

Château de Sable sale grabs

So cute!
Riri's second pair of shoes,  first pair gifted by dear Auntie V but those ones will have to wait until she is older and equipped with bigger feet. These she can probably wear in a couple of weeks. I know she can't walk but her outfits seem not complete when we're out and about.

Top with sequined peter pan collar to match. 12 month size but that's okay as we can layer!
As this shop is closing down they had such great deals, like 20% off displayed stokke sleepi mini and cute accessories like socks.
Will probably sneak in a few more little purchases from here before they are permanently gone from New Town Plaza. ;)

Stakes

I don't usually put the bebe in the carrier unless I'm headed out, but today I felt like sitting down by the computer and listening to some music, and for the hundredth time decided to blog, just for my pleasure and to document, because baby is growing fast - and by fast I mean super fast. Now it's hard to remember how small she felt in my arms when she first entered this world, and each day she will grow a little bit more and more. I'm a very proud mama already, and B & I are so excited to see what kind of lady she will blossom into. We already expect her to have a bit of attitude, judging by the clear ways she expresses herself...especially annoyance!

currently listening to vancouver sleep clinic, what a name!
